Generation x , the forgotten ones

Hey, Blooms here,

Generation X

Both parents worked and we roamed the streets, drank from the hose, ate all the food in the house.

When we ran out of food, we would scoot off to our friends house.

Everyone knew where we were, our bikes would be discarded on friend’s front lawns.

We would talk on the phone for hours, pulling the phone cord into the pantry.

Generation X are those who were born between 1965-1980.

We have earned our bragging rights as we enter our 40’s, 50’s & 60’s.

But most of us are also ladder caring. Ladder caring is where we are still looking after our children but also our ageing parents.

Time is against us, as we juggle all things and try and take back time for ourselves.

Have you got boundaries, do you need to set some?

Do you always feel last?

Have you stopped looking after yourself?

Speak with me now, and we can work through this together x

The latch key generation, we had to fend for ourselves.
